Questions, answered.

What counts as a “successful call”?add
A call that returns a successful (2xx) response with data — that’s the only thing that deducts from your wallet, at the endpoint’s published price. Anything else (a malformed request, a not-found CIN, an auth error, a rate-limit response, a server error) returns a non-2xx status and is never charged.
Are failed calls ever charged?add
No. Failed calls — 4xx and 5xx responses alike — carry no wallet deduction. You only ever pay for a successful response that returns the data you asked for, so a bad CIN or a transient error never costs you a paisa.
Is the sandbox really free?add
Yes — genuinely free. Test keys (fsk_test_) call the same endpoints against a fixed whitelist of real sample CINs and DINs at zero cost and with no card on file. Build and verify your whole integration end to end, then swap in a live key to go to production. Same code, same response shapes.
How does the prepaid wallet work?add
You top up a balance in ₹, and every successful call deducts that endpoint’s published price, billed to the paisa. There’s no overdraft and no post-paid mode — when the balance hits zero, requests are hard-blocked with a 402 until you top up again. No surprise invoice, ever.
Is GST included in the prices?add
No — every price on the rate card is exclusive of GST. FileSure is GST-registered, and 18% GST is added at the point of wallet recharge, with a tax invoice issued to your business details for clean accounting and input credit.
How do unlocks and 1-year access work?add
The MCA charges ₹100 for a single public-document search. One unlock (₹330) covers that live pull and opens the company’s filings and extractions for a full year — list, download, and extract as much as you need, with no re-unlocking. A director-contact unlock (₹15) works the same way for a director’s contact details. Per-call document and extraction charges (₹0.15) still apply on top, on unlocked companies.
What’s your refund policy?add
Successful calls are non-refundable, and failed calls are never charged in the first place. Duplicate or erroneous recharges, demonstrable platform faults, and unused wallet balance on account closure are refundable under specific conditions — full details live in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Can I get enterprise or volume pricing?add
Yes. The published rate card suits most teams, but for higher-volume workloads, committed-use contracts, or raised rate limits we quote custom enterprise rates around your actual traffic. Talk to us and we’ll work out terms.
